Hacienda Nirvana, the premier Peruvian Paso Horse facility in the Southeast,  is pleased to welcome Mr. Felix Flores.

Mr. Flores comes to us with a wealth of experience.   

He began his career in Peruvian horses and is thoroughly qualified to school horses using classical Peruvian methods.  His personal education in training the horse  has been enriched by  mentors including the notable Sr Alfredo Elias Vargas,  Sr Jose Risso Montes,Jr. and Sr. Carlos Corno Yori as well as many other well known Peruvian Horse Breeders and Chalones. 

Felix expanded his realm of work in the United States to include all gaited breeds with the purpose of developing horses that were calm and sure-footed on the trails, poised and tractable in the show ring and most of all, sound – by using reliable schooling methods that enhances the horses natural gait.  He continues to pursue his own education in Classic Dressage and has applied these methods to some of the gaited horses as well as continuing to cultivate his reputation in training Warmbloods, Andalusians as well as most other Spanish breeds.

Although Mr. Flores specializes in the Peruvian Paso Horse, his training principles have evolved to incorporate  different methodologies  that he has learned while studying and training other breeds .  He is well-known for his schooling in Classic Equitation, Dressage and Performance.   Felix is fond of training and developing the pleasure horse for home, field-trials and trails.  In addition, he is passionate about his show horses and demonstrates the patience necessary to bring into play the elements necessary to produce sound horses that thoroughly enjoy the show experience.

Felix Flores is now available for a select few horses.  You may inquire as to:  one on one training, consultation or a clinic-type setting at our state of the art equine facility.  Personal horse training is available on a monthly basis and show exhibition is available with preference being given to horses trained at our facility.
